The Media Internship Program runs each semester (Fall, Spring and TWICE during the summer), allowing students registered in the class to earn academic credit for their internship experiences.
Course Prerequisites
During the fall or spring semesters, undergraduate Film & Television majors must have completed two Sight and Sound level courses in order to register. If space in the course is available, majors from other departments are considered on a case-by-case basis to determine eligibility.
During the fall or spring semesters, graduate Film students must be in their third year of coursework in order to be eligible to register for the Media Internship course.
During the summer sessions, all Film and Television students, as well as undergraduate and graduate students at NYU, and other educational institutions who have taken at least one college-level film, television or media production course, are eligible to register for the Media Internship clourse.
