Biography

Mick Stern writes poetry, stage plays, screenplays and songs. His play "The Demons of Jaffna" was given a staged reading in 2000. His play "High Maintenance" was produced and staged by Love Creek in 2004. His one-act play "Audience" was chosen for the Samuel French One-Act Play Festival in 2005 and then chosen again for a night of one-act plays from the festival. Recently, he co-wrote a film that is due to appear next year. He has been teaching writing at NYU since 1989.
