Biography
Sherry Camhy's work is in the permanent collection of The Israel Museum, The New Orleans Museum of Art, The Telfair Museum of Art, Savannah, Georgia, The New York Public Library. It has recently been on exhibit at The Parrish Museum, Southampton,N.Y., The Katonah Museum, Katonah, N.Y., The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, Ridgefield, Ct.,The Arnot Art Museum, Elmira, N.Y. and in galleries such as The Sherry French, Elinor Ettinger, Salander O'Reilly, Exit Art, Sikkema Jenkins& Co. The National Arts Club. In 2006, she gave a presentation on "the Golden Age of Illustration in America" at the Dahesh Museum and participated in the "Why the Nude?" panel at The Art Students League. Sherry Camhy is the author of "Art of the Pencil". Her studio is located in West Chelsea at 526 West 26th Street.
